A few days back we reported that Essential Products had raised $300 million for its phone startup, and now the Phone has finally arrived. The highly anticipated Essential Phone is now open for pre-orders for Sprint carrier, but the unlocked variant is also available compatible with all major carriers in the US.
Currently, the bookings are open for users in the US only. It’s worth noting that it is the first phone from Essential.
Andy Rubin, who was the co-founder of the Android mobile operating system started the Essential in late 2015. The Essential Phone is a premium device with high-end specifications ready to compete with big brands like Apple and Samsung.
Booking of Essential Phone
The Essential Phone can be booked from e-stores including Amazon, Best Buy, Sprint, Telus, and also via Essential’s own site. Amazon is showing the shipping of Essential Phone on September 1, 2017. However, those who already made the booking (early customers) are getting notified by the company through notifications.
The company is now asking them for payment information and once completed, the company would begin shipping the devices within seven days.
The unlocked model of Essential Phone is available for $699. There is an introductory limited time offer under which the Essential Phone and Essential 360 Camera are available as a bundle for $749.
Essential 360 Camera
Those who don’t know, the Essential 360 Camera is touted as the world’s smallest 360-Degree personal camera for a smartphone. Much like the Moto Mods, which allow users to attach different accessories on the phone, the Essential Phone has power pins at the back side which allows the detachable camera to power up once it’s clipped.
