You also get the wireless charging in the handset, which Huawei has introduced the first time its smartphone. There are two fingerprint sensors, one sits at the rear and another one housed underneath the display (In-Screen Fingerprint Sensor).
It’s the second smartphone after the Vivo’s ‘Apex‘ Concept phone which has the in-screen fingerprint scanner.

As far as the power is concerned, the Porsche Design smartphone is driven by Huawei’s own Kirin 970 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. It has got 256GB of internal storage, but another model comes with 512GB storage – a world first storage size for a smartphone.
Now coming to the screen, there is a curved 6-Inch-Fullview OLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio. There is a wireless charging option too, to fuel the 4000 mAh battery which is rated to last for two days in regular use.
At the back, you’ll find Leica triple camera 40MP RGB + 20MP Monochrome + 8MP Telephoto with hybrid zoom. On the front, there is a 24-megapixel camera. Both, front and the rear cameras are the highlights of the handset. It is a dual-SIM handset that runs on Android 8.1 Oreo.
Price and Availability of the Porsche Design Huawei Mate RS
The handset is of premium quality, and obviously, the price is also premium. The 256GB model of Porsche Design Huawei Mate RS at €1,550 (around £1,300, $1,900, AU$2,500), while the 512GB variant at €2,095 (around £1,800, $2,600, AU$3,300). However, at the time of writing this post, only the 256GB model was listed on the Porsche Design’s website.
