German car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has launched its new GLS Grand Edition in India
. The company has launched this SUV in both diesel (model GLS 350D) and petrol variants (model GLS 400), and both cars have been priced starting at 86.90 lakhs. Mercedes has made several cosmetic changes in the new Grand Edition, which includes the Intelligent LED Light System and Grand Edition Badging.

At the beginning of this year, the company had introduced the GLS Grand Edition for the first time at the Detroit Auto Show in 2018. The company has also disclosed that India has joined the top 6 countries in the GLS SUV market, as well as the full-sized luxury SUV in the Mercedes-Benz SUV portfolio, will be the company’s key product.
has also used a drip beam with large size foglamps in the Grand Edition SUV, which turns on automatically on going beyond 90 km/h. In addition, the company has installed 20-inch 10-spoke Black Paint Hi-Sheen finish alloy wheels in the SUV.
Talking about the features of Mercedes-Benz GLS Grand Edition, it meets the comfort and luxury of the S-Class. The car has a 7-inch high definition screen which is equipped with Apple Car Play and Android Auto Connectivity. The company has installed the 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine in the Grand Edition GLS 350d, which generates 254 bhp power and 620 Nm peak torque. GLS 400 has a similar 3.0-liter V6 petrol engine with a capacity of 329 bhp power and 480 Nm peak torque. Both engines have been equipped with the 9G-Tronic automatic gearbox.
