Galaxy S Light Luxury Edition

As reported yesterday, Samsung has made the Galaxy S Light Luxury aka Galaxy S8 Lite official in China today. As the name suggests, this is a trimmed down version of the popular Galaxy S8 smartphone.

However, the overall design and the external features are almost same to the original Galaxy S8 version, such as the Bixby button and a fingerprint scanner. The Bixby voice support was introduced to the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus last year.

Some of the highlights of the smartphone include the display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio, Samsung Pay, wireless charging, Face Unlock, and an iris scanner. It is IP68 certified which makes it dustproof and water resistant.
