After launching in China last month, Honor has finally launched the Honor 10 smartphone internationally today at an event in London. This smartphone is packed with impressive specs and ready to compete with yet to be launched OnePlus 6 smartphone.

The Honor 10 shares the design similar to the Huawei P20 and has been launched five months after the launch of the Honor View 10.

The highlight of the smartphone is its AI-assisted cameras that make photos look better and an under-glass ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Now let’s talk about the specifications of the handset in details.

Specifications of Honor 10 Smartphone

In the midst of when there is a big discussion on whether a notch on the display should be used or not, Honor 10 comes with the Notch design on a 5.84-inch Full HD+ (2280×1080) display. The notch was witnessed by the Apple on its iPhone X.

Under the hood, there is a HiSilicon Kirin 970 processor coupled with ARM Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.36GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The handset offers 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage option.

However, you won’t get extra storage because there is no microSD card slot for internal memory expansion, unfortunately.

Coming to the cameras of Honor 10. At the rear, you’ll find “AI Camera”-labelled dual camera setup that comes in a combination of a 16-megapixel RGB camera with a f/1.8 aperture, PDAF and LED flash and a 24-megapixel monochrome camera with f/1.8 aperture.

On the front houses a 24-megapixel selfie camera with a f/2.0 aperture. it comes with features like 3D face recognition, studio lighting effects, bokeh mode, etc. A 3400mAh battery powers the handset equipped with fast charging support via 5V/4.5A Honor Super Charge.

As far as the connectivity options are concerned, the Honor 10 smartphone comes with Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C port (USB 2.0), and dual nano SIM slots along with a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Pricing and availability of Honor 10

As far as the Indian market is concerned, the Honor 10 will be available in India only in 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage version priced at Rs. 32,999 (USD 484). In the European market, the handset will cost around €399 for the 64GB storage model and €449 for the 128GB storage version.

Honor 10 will be made available in Phantom Blue, Phantom Green, Glacier Grey, and Midnight Black colour options.
