Chinese technology leader Xiaomi has entered the Italian market by establishing its first physical store in Milan. The Xiaomi Store in Milan will be opened for public with an inauguration ceremony on May 26 at 11:30 a.m. GMT 1, at Il Centro Arese · Rho, Italy.
Initially, the Xiaomi Store will start with three products, Mi Mix 2S, Redmi Note 5 and Mi Electric Scooter. Later more products will be added.
This comes just six months after its official entry into Spain and Portuguese three months later. Spain was Xiamoi’s first Western European market and according to Canalys report for Q1 2018, Xiaomi acquired the 3rd position in the Spain smartphone market.
Now the company has marked its presence in 74 markets globally.
Just two days ago, Xiaomi landed in France with its first Authorized Mi Store in Paris and an official e-commerce site Mi.com. In addition, it has partnered with four major French telecoms operators Orange, SFR, Bouygues and Free.
Other Xiaomi products in Italy that’ll be introduced soon include Xiaomi Redmi 5, Mi A1 with Android One, Mi Mix 2, Mi TV Box, Mi Robot Builder, and Mi Action Camera.
