The official poster has been released for the Xiaomi’s 31st May event in which the Mi 8 aka 8th Anniversary smartphone will be released. Xiaomi via its Weibo account released the poster. However, there is no other information regarding the Mi 8 has been released.
“May 31, Xiaomi’s annual flagship conference, more new products, see you in Shenzhen!”
The company has also confirmed that there will be a number of new products will be launched at the Shenzhen event.
In another report by Playfuldroid, a leaked poster of the Mi 8 has emerged revealing the specifications and price of Xiaomi Mi 8 aka 8th Anniversary smartphone.
As per the leaked poster, the Mi 8 will sport a 6.01-inch display featuring in-screen fingerprint scanner. It will come with a 3D structured light facial recognition, powered by Snapdragon 845 and 6GB of RAM along with a camera equipped with AI capabilities and 2X optical zoom.
The price of Mi 8 starts at CNY 2,799 (approx $439) for the base model that comes with 6GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. While the higher configuration model that comes with 8GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage has been priced at CNY 3,199 Yuan (approx $502).
