When there are a couple of days left for the Xiaomi’s products launch event, a new leak has emerged revealing the key specifications of Mi 8. Remember, the Mi 8 flagship smartphone is scheduled for launch on May 31 in Shenzhen along with several other products including the MIUI 10.
It is also to be noted that the company has started recruiting testers for the MIUI 10 closed beta program.
The leak shows the retail box of the Mi 8, however, it does not say much about the device but confirms some specs that were being speculated earlier. Xiaomi Mi 8 will be powered by Snapdragon 845 processor, 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. There are also indications of a dual GPS module, although it is not known why a second module would be important.
The box also mentions the presence of a dual camera setup at the rear and the front camera to be equipped with 3D face recognition technology.
In addition, in the box will come with a USB-C cable, and a USB-C to P2 3.5 mm dongle, suggesting the absence of this port in the model, which is not surprising since the Mi 6 itself did not have this entry.
