Just one day before the large-scale launch event of Xiaomi, a new smartphone, or we can say a new version of a month old Mi 6X will be launched on 30 May. It’ll be a cheaper variant because it packs mid-range specs.
Initially, the Mi 6X was launched on 25 April that was available offline but it did not perform well. That’s why a new version has been launched and this time it will go on sale online. It will be a low-profile version reverting to 4GB of RAM and just 32GB of internal storage.
However, the original variant came in three models; 4GB+64GB, 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB memory configurations.
The new Mi 6X comes with a 5.99-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio and equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. It sports a dual camera module at the rear with a 20-megapixel + 12-megapixel sensors with LED flash.
On the front, there is a 20-megapixel selfie snapper with portrait mode. It has a built-in 3010mAh battery capacity. The price is expected to be lower than 1,599 yuan and may be as low as 1,299 yuan for the 32GB storage version. However, we’ve to wait for the official availability of the Mi 6X tomorrow.
