There was a report which had already confirmed that AMD is working on a new 7nm Vega 20 GPU in its lab. Now the report seems to be true, as first reported by ‘tweaktown’ a recent image from 3DMARK has just got surfaced showcasing the results of it upcoming Vega graphics chip which will offer 32GB of HBM2 memory.
According to the report, AMD will launch a refreshed Vega 20 variant during the ongoing Computex 2018. AMD Vega 20 GPU will be an upgraded version of its previously launched Vega 10 GPU that will be based on 7nm architecture aiming to fix the Vega 10 issues.
Further, the image revealed that the new Vega 20 GPU will be made especially for machine learning but not for the gaming.
The report didn’t share any pricing and specs details of the new GPU. However, the new AMD Vega 20 GPU is expected to be expensive like its most production-grade graphics cards.
It is also expected that AMD will soon bring a gaming-oriented version of this graphics card but at a later date.
