Asus has launched a new 24-inch ROG Strix XG248Q gaming monitor with a high refresh rate of 240Hz. The Strix XG248Q comes with 24-inch (23.8 inches viewable) 1920×1080 resolution Full HD display with up to 240Hz native refresh rate coupled with 1ms response time for fluid gameplay.

The monitor sports a TN LCD panel with a rated luminance of 400 cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 1,000:1, viewing angles are rated at horizontal 170 ° / vertical 160 °, display color 16.7 million colors.

The Strix XG248Q features Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB), which is the equivalent of ULMB on G-Sync monitors. The new ROG Strix XG248Q monitor also features ASUS Aura Sync lighting that adds ambiance to any gaming setup or LAN party.

The monitor includes two HDMI 2.0 port, one HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.2 four video inputs. There are also two USB 3.0 ports.

We are not sure that the monitor includes FreeSync or not but it does include VESA Adaptive Sync technology. On the back of the LCD ASUS embedded some RGB LED functionality compatible with ASUS “Aura Sync”.
