AT&T Samsung Galaxy S7 Active (G891A) has started receiving the Android Oreo 8.0 update. The update comes with build number R16NW.G891AUCU3CRE7 and includes April 2018 Security Patch.
The Android Oreo update on Galaxy S7 Active is OTA (over-the-air) and is released in phases, so if you are running the stock firmware you’ll get a notification when it reaches your region and device.

To update the software
Make sure your device is fully charged and connected to Wi-Fi.
Swipe down from the Notification bar and tap the Settings icon.
Scroll to and tap Software update > Check for updates.
Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the update.
The device automatically restarts once the new software successfully installs.
Note: In order to receive the software update, your device must be on baseband version G891AUCS2BRC1 or G891AUCS3BRD1.
