Following the release of the first Public Beta versions of iOS 12 and tvOS 12, Apple has released the first public beta of MacOS Mojave, the next major update of its operating system for Macs.
Version 10.14 of the platform comes with several interesting new features, including some applications formerly exclusive to iOS – voice recorder, Apple News and Stocks – and various user experience optimizations.
In addition, other features such as the much awaited Dark Mode, which unlike previous versions of macOS – where only changed the colour of the menu bar and dock – this time can be applied throughout the system ( including third-party apps).
Despite these new features, it is worth remembering that this is still a trial (Beta) version, only meant to developers and testers of the Apple Beta Software Program so that they can report errors and inconsistencies to Apple, before the release of the final version.
Having said that, we advise you not to install Mojave on your main machine unless you want to take risks and exploit the system’s new features, as well as bugs, the new platform also presents incompatibility with a number of applications that have not yet been optimized for the update.
To download the MacOS Mojave Public Beta, just go to the following link, enter your credentials (Apple ID), install the profile, reboot the machine and download through the Mac App Store.
