New LG budget smartphone, the X2 has been launched in South Korea priced at 198,000 Korean Won (approx. Rs 12,200). The highlight feature of the LG X2 is Auto Shot feature in its camera which is capable to recognise faces while taking selfies.
As far as the specifications of LG X2 is concerned, it comes with a 5-inch HD display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution and is driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz.
There is 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage with support for a microSD card for further memory expansion. The handset houses an 8-megapixel rear camera enabled with LED flash along with a 5-megapixel selfie cam equipped with ‘Auto Shot’ feature, as mentioned earlier.
The handset will be available for purchase in South Korea through telecom operators such as SK Telink, KTM Mobile, CJ HelloVision and U-Mobi in Aurora Black colour variant. Availability and price of LG X2 in India have not been announced yet.
Earlier this month, LG had launched the LG X5 in India with a massive 4,500 mAh battery.
