LG has launched a new mid-range smartphone, the LG X5 (2018) in its home country. It’s the successor of LG X5 which was launched in 2016. The new LG X5 is now available in South Korea through major carriers such as SKT, KT and LG U+.
The highlight feature of LG X5 (2018) is the massive 4,500 mAh battery equipped with Fast Charging technology.

Talking about other specifications, the LG X500 runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box and features a 1.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 chipset paired with 2 GB of RAM. The internal storage is 32 GB out of which 24.31 GB is available to the user. There is a microSD card support to expand the storage.
The handset sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels with 18:9 aspect ratio. Regarding the optics, the LG X500 comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel super wide-angle selfie cam.
The smartphone packs standard connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, NFC and support for LTE UE CAT 4.0, for higher download speeds.
Price and Availability of New LG X5
In South Korea, the new LG X5 will be available via three major mobile operators SKT, KT and LG U+ with a price tag of 3,63,000 KRW (INR 22,368 approximately). However, right now there is no word on the global availability of the handset.
