Lenovo-owned Motorola has entered into a partnership with Twitter India for a livestream Experience of its much-awaited Moto G6 and G6 play launch in India. The launch of both devices is scheduled on 4 June.
Till now we’ve been watching live streaming of smartphone launches on YouTube, but this is the first time a brand has officially collaborated with the micro-blogging platform to live-stream a product unveiling event.
Commenting on the partnership, Rachna Lather, Marketing Head, Motorola Mobility India said-

With this partnership with Twitter India, we are going to unveil our new products – moto g6 and moto g6 play in an entertaining and engaging manner. The Livestream of the unveiling of Motorola’s much anticipated Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play is expected to last around four-and-a-half hours. The event will be accompanied with eclectic performances by six spectacular artists including singer Jasleen Royal, Raaga Trippin Acapella group and Dharavi Rocks, Rap & Street Dance group among others. The event will be hosted by popular anchor and Bollywood actor Maniesh Paul.
