The war over the territory of smartphones with tiny edges is about to become more intense. Oppo has just released a new Find X teaser, its next smartphone that bets on an insane front end, as seen in Vivo NEX.
The teaser comes after a couple of days when Vivo unveiled its two new smartphones Vivo NEX S and NEX A under the ‘NEX’ series. These are high-end smartphones with an eye-catching display and no bezels at all.
The image revealed by the Chinese manufacturer does not reveal many details about the Find X, only indicating that it will launch a smartphone with the least possible edges. But beyond this teaser, we also had the specifications of Find X leaked, revealing that the handset will not only be surprising on the outside but also inside.
If the leak is correct, the specification review of Oppo Find X include a 6.4-inch screen with FHD + resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels), powered by Snapdragon 845 chipset, 8GB RAM, 128 GB storage, dual-camera setup at the rear with 20+16 MP, 25 MP front camera, 3.730 mAh battery and ColorOS 5.1 interface based on Android Oreo 8.1.
However, another leak shows a supposed screenshot of the device’s system, displaying Android 9.0. Here we see the kernel 5.3.96 and the security package for the month of June. The possibility of Find X coming with Android P is quite low because the system version will only be released by Google in the third quarter.
The official launch of Find X will take place next Tuesday (June 19), but we still do not know when the device will go for sale after the launch. If it comes to the market only at the end of the year, there will be the possibility of coming with Android 9.0.
Let’s wait and see!
