Oppo Find X, a new flagship smartphone which features a gorgeous panoramic view and 93.8% screen to body ratio. It has also joined the race of bezel-less display with no notch and the front camera rests inside the body.
Much like the Vivo Nex, which was the first smartphone that got rid of the notch and holds a pop-up camera, the Oppo Find X features front camera pops-up every time a user wants to take a selfie.
The highlight of the smartphone is its display which as mentioned earlier comes with 93.8 percent screen-to-body-ratio which is the highest ever achieved on a smartphone.
Specification Review of Oppo Find X
Equipped with state of the art stealth 3D cameras to redefine smartphone photography, Oppo Find X features a 6.4-inch curved AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1080*2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 translating to a pixel density of 401 ppi.
Unlike other bezel-less smartphones that comes with a notch such as iPhone X, OnePlus 6, Oppo R15, Mi 8, etc, the Oppo Find X has no notch and a very less chin at the bottom. The selfie camera, proximity sensor and ambient lighting sensor are neatly hidden under the display.
Under the hood, the handset comes with the fastest Qualcomm processor, the Snapdragon 845 paired with Adreno 630 GPU and 8GB of RAM. The internal storage is 256GB and if you think it’s not enough then you also get the option to expand via microSD card of up to 400GB.
It runs on Android 8.1 with company’s own ColorOS 5.1 skin on top. In terms of optics, the Oppo Find X comes with three cameras, two cameras at the back and one on the front. At the rear side there is a dual-rear camera setup with 16MP + 20MP sensors and on the front, you’ll find a 25MP 3D camera with an aperture rate of f/2.0.
The dual-SIM smartphone is fueled with a 3730mAh battery enabled with VOOC flash charge technology which can charge the battery fully in 35 minutes along with standard connectivity options like 4G LTE, Bluetooth, dual-band Wi-Fi, Type-C connector with OTG support, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, NFC, etc.
This time Oppo has omitted the conventional fingerprint sensor but has included 3D Structured Light-based face recognition technology called O-Face Recognition.
Availability of Oppo Find X
Right now, the Oppo Find X has been launched for the Chinese, American and European markets and the official launch of Find X in India is scheduled for July 12.
