AT&T has started the roll-out of Android Oreo-based June 2018 Security Update (Patch) for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (N950U). The update comes with the software version N950USQU4CRF3.
The update started to roll-out from June 26, but being an OTA (over the air) update it is released slowly in phases so you might have to wait for a few days before it reaches on your device.
As clearly mentioned, this is only a security update based on Android Oreo and will not bring any change in the UI nor it will update the OS version and there won’t be any addition to the features.
The update has arrived soon after AT&T released the Android 8.0 Oreo Update for its Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge devices last week.
How to check for the update on Samsung Galaxy Note 8
- First of all, go to the Settings on your Samsung Android Device.
- Scroll down to find About Phone and just tap on it.
- Now, tap on Software Update.
If there is any update you’ll be prompted to download it
