Nokia 8110

HMD Global has finally announced the arrival of Nokia 8110 (MSM8905) in the Italian market. The feature phone is available in Black and Yellow colour options and is sold at a suggested price of 89 euros.

Running on KaiOS operating system, the Nokia 8110 4G was announced in February 2018 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The Nokia 8110 incorporates the iconic, slightly curved slider design of the 8110 made by Nokia in 1996 in a “more modern” style. The new model comes with the support for 4G connectivity and allows you to connect to a store where the “essential” apps are available including Google Assistant, Google Maps, Google Search and various company.

The handset is also able to send and receive emails, import contacts and synchronize the calendar with Gmail.

The Nokia 8110 4G has a 2.45-inch QVGA (240×320 pixels) display, 1.1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 205 processor and 512 MB RAM. On the rear, you’ll get a 2-megapixel camera equipped with LED flash. Unfortunately, there is no front camera if you are a selfie lover.

The phone comes with IP52 rating which makes it dust and water resistance. There is 4 GB of internal storage, but it seems that there is no support for MicroSD card. Nokia 8110 4G’s connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS, Micro-USB, FM radio and 3.5mm headphone jack.

A 1500 mAh battery powers the handset which is rated to deliver about 9.32 hours of talk time and up to 25 days standby time.
