Motorola is coming with a big event at the Chicago headquarter on August 2nd where the company is expected to launch the Moto Z3 along with 5G Moto Mod.
According to FoneArena, Motorola will release this device as Verizon exclusive, unlike the Moto Z2 Force Edition that was made available across all major carriers. However, there are two changes worth noting. First, Moto Z3 will not be featuring the shatterproof display and the second, there is no “Force Edition” branding. The new product has only one name of Moto Z3.
Regarding the 5G module, Qualcomm has previously revealed that some operators and mobile phone manufacturers may launch 5G mobile phones before the end of the year. It seems that Moto has creatively landed on the shore with the plug-in based modular design.
As far as the specs are concerned, there is nothing official, but rumours are buzzing around that the Moto Z3 might come with the Snapdragon 845 SoC bringing the price of a whole set a bit expensive.
In addition, it is expected that the new products that will appear on the launch event include the Android Go based entry-level smartphone Moto C2/C2 Plus and the Android One mobile phone Moto One/One Power.
