OxygenOS 5.1.9 OTA Update for OnePlus 6

OnePlus has announced the roll-out of OxygenOS 5.1.9 update to its OnePlus 6 flagship smartphone. The update brings Google Lens support, improved image quality and other features.

The company also said that it’s an OTA (over-the-air) update and will be released slowly in phases. Initially, only a small number of users will get the update, but there will be a broader rollout in a few days.

Giving the information, Manu Kumar Jain said, We are starting to push the incremental roll-out of OxygenOS 5.1.9, this update contains optimizations and new features for the camera.”

In the optics department, the update brings improved image quality taken with OnePlus 6 and Google Lens mode has also been added which allow users to know what’s in the image with the smartphone camera.

Beauty mode for Selfie Portrait has also been integrated.

OxygenOS 5.1.9 update brings other improvements in:

Wireless & networks

  • Optimized stability for Wi-Fi connection
  • Fixed stability issue with the Bluetooth connection for cars


  • Updated Android security patch to 2018.7
  • Fixed issues with accidental touches triggering gestures ( Draw V)
  • Supported Telia Finland VoLTE (Default On) and VoWifi (Default Off)
  • General bug fixes and improvements


  • Added Group MMS
