Company’s decision to launch the Red colour OnePlus 6 is based on the success of the OnePlus 5T Lava Red Edition. It got an overwhelming response all around the globe.

OnePlus 6 was launched in India and China in May 2018 in Mirror Black, Midnight Black and Silk White colour options starting at ₹34,999 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB Storage model. The company also launched the Marvel Avengers Limited Edition OnePlus 6.
It got so good response that it crossed Rs 100 crore in revenue within 10 mins of the first sale.
OnePlus 6 Red Edition Features, Specifications
There is no change from inside in the new OnePlus 6 Red variant and shares the same configurations as other OnePlus 6 models.
It features a 6.28-inch full-HD+ Full Optic AMOLED display with 1080×2280 pixels resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor powers the handset clock speed up to 2.8GHz and an Adreno 630 GPU.
It’ll come only in 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. The Red OnePlus 6 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with OxygenOS 5.1 skin on top and is ready for the Android P Beta build which is now available to download.
In terms of camera, it sports a dual camera setup at the rear in a vertical module with a combination of 16-megapixel Sony IMX519 primary sensor and a 20-megapixel Sony IM376K secondary sensor. The camera is equipped with a dual-LED flash module, OIS, and EIS.
Camera modes will be available in the handset include Smart Capture mode, HDR and Portrait Mode make their return as well. The front camera is a 16-megapixel with a Sony IMX371 sensor capable to record slow motion videos, capturing 480 frames per second at 720p for up to a minute.
The smartphone is fueled by a 3300mAh battery equipped with the OnePlus’s own Dash Charge (5V 4A) fast charging technology which is claimed to deliver a “day’s power in half an hour”.

OnePlus 6 Red price in India and in the international market is same as the other OnePlus 6 variants. It’ll we available from next week across the globe in the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration.
