After releasing OxygenOS Open Beta 14/12 for OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T earlier this month OnePlus has now released stable OxygenOS 5.1.4 for the OnePlus 5 and 5T with Standby Optimization & July Security patches. The new OxygenOS 5.1.4 update for the OnePlus 5 and 5T also brings a slew of change in camera departments, improving the photo clarity. It also adds Group Messaging into the messages app and brings general bug fixes.

The incremental update version 5.1.4 will be rolling out for users via OTA update notification on their OnePlus 5/5T devices. However, the OTA will be rolling out for a limited number of users today and will be available for more users in next coming days.

The sleep standby optimization on this update is said to be providing more juice out of your battery means, you will get improved battery performance on your phone.

After updating your device with latest OxygenOS 5.1.4 update you can enable the Sleep Standby Optimization feature in Settings > Battery > battery optimization > click the three dots > Advanced optimization > Sleep Standby optimization
