EA has just made the NHL 19 Open Beta available for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 starting today and will run through August 2. The NHL 19 open beta gives a chance for players to experience the game with new revamped ‘The World of CHEL’, Hockey League mode. The World of CHEL lets you create your own character with improved progression and customization systems.
Players can customize their character with 15 different traits and 21 different specialization. There are six different traits and nine specializations for Goalies as well.
Players can also customize their character with “hundreds of unlockable items like hoodies, jackets, parkas, and knits.”
NHL 19 will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 14, 2018. Players can unlock the game three days early by pre-ordering the Ultimate or Legend edition.
For network players 2-12 – Full game requires PlayStation Plus membership to access online multiplayer. The NHL open beta file size weighs around 22GB and it is now available to download from the PlayStation Store.
