Xiaomi has launched a new model of its popular Redmi Note 5 smartphone in China with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It will go on sale in China on July 27 priced at CNY 1,699 (INR 17,200 approx.).
The pre-registration for the Redmi Note 5 6GB RAM+128GB Storage model is now open.
The handset was launched in February this year in China, including India and enjoys almost similar hardware specifications to the Redmi Note 5 Pro, except for a few small differences. There is a 5.99-inch full-screen IPS LCD screen protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
There is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core chipset that drives the handset clocked at 1.8 GHz with an Adreno 509 GPU to enhance the graphics processing.
With the launch of new variant, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 now comes in four configurations – 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage.
