Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 will be arriving with Iris Scanner and Samsung’s own Intelligent Scan feature for the security of the device.
Samsung reportedly all set to launch the Galaxy Tab S4 on August 9 along with the Galaxy Note 9 device at its Unpacked Event. However, in the meantime, an important information has surfaced regarding the Galaxy Tab S4.
SamMobile has published a news according to which Samsung will be skipping the use of a fingerprint sensor, instead, it will use Iris Scanner. This technology is currently being used in smartphones, even in Samsung mobiles which include Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus.
Diving into the Galaxy Tab S4 firmware, SamMobile got an animated video showing the process of setting up Intelligent Scan.
Specifications of Galaxy Tab S4
Right now, there is nothing official from Samsung as far as the specifications are concerned. However, based on information provided by rumour mills the tab is said to feature a 10.5 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and 16:10 aspect ratio.
It will run on Snapdragon 835 SoC paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and will have 64GB of included storage. It will house both rear and front cameras.
