Mi A2 is expected to hit the market with Android 8.1 Oreo
Mi 6X was launched in China earlier in April and now Xiaomi is preparing to launch the handset in the global market, However, reports are surfacing that it could be called Mi A2 running on Android One ecosystem.
Before the launch, the Mi A2 has appeared in real life image which confirms some interesting information. According to what has been disclosed, the Mi A2 is expected to hit the market with Android 8.1 Oreo as the operating system which is the latest Android OS available publicly.
Either way, it is quite likely that Mi A2 will also receive Android P, which was announced by Google a few months ago and should be released later this year.
The leaked image also shows what the front of the smartphone looks like. There are two front cameras along with sensors, being exactly what the rumours indicate. A large display with good use of the space, giving few spaces to the edges. One plus point is that there is no notch, something that has become a common feature in current devices.
Besides the Mi A2, the company is also preparing to introduce some new devices, including the top-of-the-line Mi Mix 3 and Mi Max 3.
