Xiaomi is all set to launch a series of smartphones at its global launch event in Madrid on July 24. The Xiaomi Mi A2 is also expected to launch at the event but ahead of that press renders, specifications and price of Mi A2 have been surfaced.
Specification Xiaomi Mi A2
The Xiaomi Mi A2 is powered by SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, which is one of the strongest systems in the mid-range segment we can find on the market. The mobile platform consists of an octa-core processor, in the configuration of 4x Kryo 260 @ 2.2 GHz + 4x Kryo 260 @ 1,8,4 GHz, as well as from the Adreno 512 graphics layout.
The smartphone will arrive in Poland in three versions. It’ll be available in the following configurations:
- 4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory,
- 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory,
- 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal memory.
The Mi A2 model comes with a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2160 × 1080 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. The frames around the screen are slightly reduced in relation to the Mi 6X – the new model is slightly lower and slightly narrower. In addition, it is difficult to indicate any specific differences in the construction of both phones. The only thing that strikes me is the Android One logo on the Xiaomi Mi A2.
As far as the camera is concerned, there is a dual rear camera setup in the configuration of 12MP + 20MP, using Sony IMX486 and Sony IMX376 sensors. A 20-megapixel front camera supported by a dedicated LED has been given for the selfie fans.
