Xiaomi’s big smartphone (phablet) Mi Max 3 has been launched in China. This affordable phablet from Xiaomi is the successor of Mi Max 2 which was launched nearly 14 months ago.

One key point to be noted here is that there is no notch on the 6.9-inch display of Mi Max 3. The main highlights of the device is a 5,500mAh battery, dual rear cameras, and dual 4G VoLTE support.

Specifications of Mi Max 3

Driven by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 636 chipset, the Mi Max 3 has a 6.9-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels. It is a dual-SIM device that comes with 4G VoLTE capabilities as mentioned earlier.

There is a dual rear camera setup of 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor along with an 8-megapixel selfie cam. The phablet gets the power from a 5,500 mAh battery.

There are two variants of Mi Max 3 – 4GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant.

Pre-Order, Price and Availability of Mi Max 3

The Mi Max 3’s 4GB RAM and 64 GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,699 yuan (around Rs 17,300 in Indian price). The price of 6GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,999 yuan (around Rs 20,400 in Indian price). Mi Max 3 pre-order is now open while the shipping will start in China from July 20.
