Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro Design Review
The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is presented with the classic style that often accompanies the Redmi line, so we will appreciate many similarities to each other, but especially with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro.
To begin, the main body of the handset is made of metal, which will give us more strength, while the top and bottom are made of plastic, which will help drastically reduce the weight of the smartphone, reaching only 178 grams.
It is 149.33 millimetres long, 71.68 millimetres wide and 8.75 millimetres thick. We have the perfect size to use it with one hand, so we are dealing with an ergonomic device.
On the other hand, we’ll find a notch on the front that manages to give a new touch to the handset and it contains only 3 elements: the light sensor, the speaker and the 5MP front camera, so it is much thinner than the of other similar smartphones.
Continuing with the design, at the top we have the 3.5mm headphone jack, the noise reduction microphone and the infrared remote sensor.
While in the lower part we will have a micro USB port, which is accompanied by a loudspeaker, ensuring that calls are a strong point in this smartphone. On the left side, we will find the slot for the Nano SIM cards and the micro SD card, which can be accessed via a SIM needle.
And finally, on the right side, we have the volume control and on / off buttons.
Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro Display Review
The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro comes with a 5.86-inch IPS capacitive screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 and 432 pixels per inch (PPI), which translates to full HD + 1080P quality. We must also mention that thanks to the inclusion of IPS technology, we will enjoy much more vivid and clear colours in view that avoids the loss and leakage of light.
Another important point is the curved 2.5D glass and although we know that in terms of technicality does not offer any improvement, in the aesthetic section if it does, delighting us with a much more modern style.
The screen offers an aspect ratio of 19:9 and covers 79.79% of the front of the device, being quite close to being part of the prestigious club full-screen handsets. And finally, it supports the following functions: sunscreen, night light screen, eye protection mode and intelligent environment adaptation mode.
