In a blog post, AMD said that it will provide a high-performance AMD System-On-Chip (SoC) that will combine an AMD Ryzen CPU along with AMD Radeon Vega Graphics Semi-Custom SoC onto a single chip. The new AMD Semi-Custom SOC will be powering gaming PCs and Consoles in China.
The new gaming PC will be made working with the Zhongshan Subor, the Chinese manufacturer which specializes in making Toys and games for Adults and Children.
Zhongshan PC will be powered by a high-performance AMD chip that combines AMD Ryzen CPU (4 core/8 thread running at 3Ghz) and AMD Radeon Vega Graphics (24CUs running at 1.3Ghzs) and 8GB of GDDR5 memory onto a single chip.
Manufacturing a PC or Console with AMD Ryzen and Vega Based Semi-Custom SoC will bring gamers the most immersive gaming experiences possible in China.
The new gaming PC was demonstrated in the Subor booth at ChinaJoy, the largest gaming and digital entertainment exhibition in China and Asia. Subor plans to launch their new game PC in late-August.
The SUBOR gaming console, featuring the same hardware as the gaming PC but with a customized operating system, is expected to launch by the end of 2018.
