Motorola has finally made the announcement for the Android 9.0 Pie update to eight of its smartphones coming this fall. These handsets include Moto Z3, Moto Z3 Play, Moto Z2 Force Edition, Moto Z2 Play, Moto X4, Moto G6 Plus, Moto G6, Moto G6 Play.

Earlier this month, Google officially announced the Android 9.0 Pie and soon after the announcement some of the devices started to receive the update which includes Google Pixel 2/Pixel 2 XL, Pixel 3/Pixel 3 XL and the Essential Phone.

Other OEMs including Sony and HTC have also announced their timeline for the Android 9.0 Pie (Android P) update on their smartphones. HMD Global announced the release of Android Pie beta 4 on Nokia 7 Plus.

The new update comes with lots of security improvements and features such as Intuitive Navigation and Recent App, an improved Do Not Disturb mode, a colourful settings menu anticipated longer battery life, revamped split-screen and more.
