Blackberry is going to launch a new smartphone at the IFA 2018 trade fair which will begin from August 31. The company has released a video teaser of the upcoming handset without revealing the name and details of the handset.

Soon after the teaser was released, it is now surfacing that BlackBerry is going to launch the BlackBerry KEY2 LE or BlackBerry KEY2 Lite at the IFA 2018.

The IFA 2018 will be held in Berlin, Germany and the trade show will run from August 31 to September 5. The expected BlackBerry KEY2 LE will be the mid-range smartphone and similar in terms of the design of KEY2.

This phone will be running on Android OS, uses the QWERTY keyboard and the polycarbonate body.

Expected Specifications of the BlackBerry KEY2 LE

There is nothing official from the company regarding the specifications of the BlackBerry KEY2 LE but the rumour mills are speculating that the smartphone will be powered by the Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor.

We’ve also seen the leak images of the BlackBerry KEY2 LE which suggests that the device will sport a dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary+5-megapixel secondary sensor.

The phone’s display is said to be 4.5 inches with a resolution of 1080×1620 pixels. Corning Gorilla Glass will be used for the display protection. Speaking of connectivity, this smartphone fully supports 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
