Earlier this month we had reported about the first renders images of the Huawei Mate 20, there was also news that Huawei could also launch the Mate 20 series on October with worlds first 7nm chip the Kirin 980 for its Mate 20 series. Now we finally have the official announcement coming right from IFA trade show in Berlin. Huwaei has announced that Mate 20 series which consist of the Huawei Mate 20, 20 Pro and Mate 20 Lite will be launched on October 16 in London.
Both Mate 20 and the Mte 20 Pro will be coming with worlds first 7nm chip the Kirin 980. While the Mate 20 Lite will be powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 710, the same processor which was used on the recently launched Huawei Nova 3i.
The Mate 20 will feature a 6.3-inch AMOLED screen with a water drop notch, triple rear cameras setup, 4,200mAh battery, Wireless Charging, stereo speakers and glass on both sides.
The Huawei Mate 20 Lite, on the other hand, features a 6.3-inch 1080x2340px IPS LCD, a Kirin 710 chipset, 6GB of RAM, a 3,650mAh battery and four cameras – a 20MP f/1.8 + 2MP main camera and a 24MP + 2MP selfie cameras.
