Huawei is already working on Android 9.0 Pie update for Mate 10 Pro, P20, Honor 10 and V10, but before that the Android Pie is available for Huawei P8 Lite 2017, unofficially though.
In less than a week after Google’s announcement of the Android Pie, the update is now available for the Huawei P8 Lite 2017 owners. Thanks to XDA Member Askuccio_DROID who worked to port the Pie code.
The Huawei P8 Lite 2017 (prague) was announced in January 2017 with Android 7.0 Nougat running out-of-the-box. It has a 5.2-inches display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and driven by an Octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 655 SoC paired with 3/4 GB of RAM.
The smartphone is available in 16/64GB internal storage options with microSD card support for memory expansion up to 256GB. There is a 12-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera and a 3000 mAh battery.
