When my device will receive Google’s latest Android 9 Pie Update? well, this is probably the most asked question we are getting these days. Android 9 Pie is the Google’s latest operating system which Google released earlier this month. However, the update was first made available for Google’s Pixel devices and later rolled out to the Essential phone being the second Non-Google device to receive the Android 9 Pie. Now, what about other non-Google devices and when they will get the Android 9 Pie update?. To answer this question, here I have wrapped up all the Android devices in a list which are now confirmed to receive the Android 9 Pie update this fall.
Note: Smartphone manufacturer who took part in the Android 9 Pie beta programme will be able to get the Android 9 Pie update first than others.
“Sony Mobile, Xiaomi, HMD Global, Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus and Essential, as well as all qualifying Android One devices, will receive this update by the end of this fall,” Google notes in an update.
