OnePlus 6

Within a month of releasing the HydrogenOS beta 1 based on Android 9.0 Pie for the OnePlus 6, the company has now started releasing the HydrogenOS Beta 2 update.

A user on the OnePlus forum posted the update information and also shared the screenshot which reveals several bug fixes and optimizations including System, Phone, Launcher, Status bar, settings etc.

The global version od OnePlus 6 runs on OxygenOS, but in China, the software it runs on is called HydrogenOS which doesn’t include Google services or the Play Store. Below is the full changelog of HydrogenOS Beta 2.

    – Updated Android security patch to 2018.9
    – Added global roaming solution
    – Improved touchscreen sensitivity
    – Optimized standby power consumption
    – Optimized stability for Bluetooth connection

    – Fixed issue with caller interface display for incoming phone calls

 

  • Launcher
    – Fixed issues with icons not displaying correctly in the dock area
    – Fixed double swipe arrow appearing in the launcher

 

  • Status Bar
    – Fixed status bar drop-down display issue
    – Fixed issue with popping up intermittently

    – Fixed intermittent crashes when accessing display settings in dark mode

    – Fixed issues with lock screen interface not displaying battery percentage correctly while charging
