After several teasers, it seems that Oppo has finally revealed the launch date of F9 Pro in India. The company has started sending out invites for an event on August 21, however, the invite doesn’t mention the device name.

The highlight features of the Oppo F9 Pro includes a dual camera setup at the rear and VOOC flash charge technology which is claimed to give 2 hours of talk time in just 5 minutes of charge.

It’s worth noting here that there are two smartphones in Oppo F-series, the Oppo F9 and Oppo F9 Pro. In markets like Indonesia and Malaysia, the company is launching the F9 and in India the F9 Pro.

OPPO is also appointed as an exclusive partner by PUBG Mobile in 2018 Indonesia National Championship PINC.

Specifications of Oppo F9 Pro

As far as the specifications of Oppo F9 Pro are concerned, there is no official information in India, but the company’s Vietnam website has revealed the specifications of the Oppo F9. So maybe the F9 Pro may come with the same specs.

The smartphone will be a dual-SIM (Nano + Nano) device running on Android 8.1 Oreo. There will be a 6.3-inch full-HD+ display having a resolution of 1080×2280 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio.

Under the hood, we’ll find the 12nm MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core SoC clocked at 2GHz and ARM Mali-G2 MP3 GPU for graphics. The handset will be available in 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage and 6GB RAM/128GB storage variants. However, only the 6GB RAM variant of the F9 Pro is expected to launch in India.

In terms of optics, the Oppo F9 Pro is expected to sport a dual-camera setup at the rear with 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. There will be a 3500mAh battery.
