We all have heard that Samsung is working on its first upcoming Smart Speaker. Some earlier rumours have suggested that Samsung’s new smart speaker will be named as ”Magbee”. The name recently appeared on documents published by the US Patent and Trademark Office for a trademark in the United States. However, there is no confirmation to that as of now.
According to new leak information shared by leaker Ice Universe on Twitter, Samsung’s smart speaker will be codenamed as ”LUX” and will come with new Bixby 2.0 version of the virtual assistant that is also expected to be powering up the upcoming Note 9.
His tweet also suggested that Samsung smart speaker will be manufactured by Harman technology, which specialises in manufacturing smart speakers and has been responsible for the Invoke Cortana-enabled smart speaker.
Moreover, all leaks and rumour point that Samsung will be launching its upcoming smart speaker alongside the Galaxy Note 9, at the company’s Unpacked event scheduled to take place on August 9th, 2018.
