Soon we could see a new smartphone, the Honor Magic 2, competing with the Oppo Find X. The Honor Magic 2 was teased at the launch of Honor Play at IFA 2018.
The Honor Magic 2 shares the similar design as of the Oppo Find X, such as a FullView display and a selfie camera which sits behind the display and pops-up when the camera app is activated.
George Zhao, CEO of Honor hinted that the Magic 2 will come with features that will be the first in this device such as the front camera based on a slider. Unfortunately apart from showing a large display and the processor, no further details have been revealed in the teaser images.
The device will debut with a hardware from the first class thanks to the yet to be announced Kirin 980 processor which comes with enhanced AI capabilities.
The mysterious Honor Magic 2 flagship will arrive with the rapid charging support “Magic Charge” from 40W. The latter is very reminiscent of the new SuperCharge which – presumably – should debut with the Mate 20series.
