The front panel looks pretty much same as that of Mi Mix 2, but the point to note here is that the bottom edge of Mi Mix 3 is thinner than its predecessor and the reason is, there is no camera at the bottom.
If you remember, the front camera in the Mi Mix 2 is located in the bottom corner of the phone (see below) and that’s why the bottom is thicker than the top border.
In fact, the camera sits under the display and comes out when the camera app is activated, much like the Oppo Find X and Vivo NEX. It will be Xiaomi’s top-end device with premium features. The handset might also come with infrared face recognition module.
We can clearly see in the image below that the company has skipped the notch and also the chin at the bottom. The Mi Mix 3 screen percentage will likely reach 95%.
Expected Specifications of Xiaomi Mi Mix 3
Right now, there is no official confirmation regarding the specifications of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, but based on leaks we can say that there will be a 6.2-inch OLED screen, resolution can reach 2560×1440 pixels.
Dual camera setup at the rear with Sony IMX363 sensor and expected a 20MP pop-up camera at the front. The handset is said to pack a 4000 mAh battery and will be available in 6GB/8GB/10GB RAM options, and the storage memory in 128GB/256GB/512GB.
It will be equipped with in-display fingerprint recognition and wireless flash charging, NFC.
