Xiaomi is aggressively working to grab a major share in the Indian smartphone market. Working towards this, the company is bringing a new series of smartphones under its new POCO brand in India.
The first phone under the POCO brand in India could be the Pocophone F1, which has been in leaks for quite some time. POCO India and Global Pocophone Twitter pages are already live.
Xiaomi India lead product manager Jai Mani has tweeted in which IndiaPOCO and GlobalPocoPhone have been mentioned. In this tweet, an image is also attached which says, “POCO by Xiaomi”. Check below:

A couple of days back we reported that a Romanian e-commerce website has listed the Pocophone F1 with complete specifications. We don’t know whether it’ll feature the same specs in the Indian market or not.
Pocophone F1 in India Expected Specifications
The Pocophone F1 in India may arrive with a base mode of 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. It’ll be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset clocked at 2.7GHz. One of the highlight features of the handset is the Liquid Cooling system.
This feature hints that the POCO will be a gaming-centric handset, much like the Black Shark. It’s worth noting that the Black Shark gaming smartphone has not been launched in India and it doesn’t seem to be arriving in the near future.
The Pocophone will be a dual-SIM (Nano) device with 4G support, packed with a 4000 mAh battery come with a 5.99 inches IPS display with a 1080 x 2246 pixels resolution.
