Oxygen OS Open Beta 1 for the OnePlus 6

OnePlus has started rolling out the first OxygenOS Open Beta based on Android 9.0 Pie integrated with OnePlus customization features. So it’s definitely a good news for the OnePlus owners.

Last month, OxygenOS 5.1.11 update was released for the OnePlus 6 that comes with System and camera optimizations alongside other improvements in several key areas which are based on users feedback.

This new OxygenOS Open Beta 1 for OnePlus comes with brand new UI for Android P, new Android P gesture navigation and other features which you can read in the changelog below.

It’s worth noting that the Chinese version of the OnePlus 6 which runs on Hydrogen OS received the Android Pie based Hydrogen OS open beta in August.

Known Issues

  • Some applications may not function as expected when running on this beta version
  • Google Pay service is not working
  • Google Play Store might show “Device is not Certified by Google”
