Finally, Xiaomi has made the Android 9.0 Pie (Android P) Beta ROM based on MIUi 10 available for its Mi MIX 2S starting today. The update is rolling out over-the-air (OTA), but you can also download it manually.
In its weekly MIUi 10 updates, Xiaomi postponed the update for the Mi MIX 2S citing the Android P development, and today finally it has released.
How to upgrade Mi MIX 2S to Android P?
If you are running custom ROM then you’ll not get the OTA update. So make sure your device is running stock ROM and it is updated to the latest version. Another point to note is, do not flash back to Android O, otherwise, it might cause the system error.
Keep in mind that it’s a beta ROM, so you might come across bugs and system instability. However, the number of errors should decrease until the final version is released.
