Ferrari Brings the Portofino to the Indian Market to Replace the California T

Finally, we have the much-awaited car of supercar giant Ferrari. The Italian carmaker company unveiled the Portofino for the Indian market to replace the California T. This beast comes with an award-winning 3.9 liter twin-turbo V8 derived from the Ferrari 488 makes 600PS and 760Nm at 5250 rpm.

Ferrari introduced this car last year in December on its 70th Anniversary celebration in Italy. It gets typical Ferrari styling and looks sharper than California T. It has carbon fiber side skirt and the rear wheel arch haunches are accentuated leading into tail lamps.

The rear of the vehicle features twin tail lamps which are set apart and a quad exhaust setup with a contoured boot lid. Apart from the power other features are boomerang-shaped headlights flanked by air intakes and the new bumper, 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, 18-way electrically adjustable seats and a new wind deflector which reduces airflow inside the cabin by 30 percent when the roof is down.

This beauty is a 2+2 seater hard-top convertible. It also weighs 80 kg less than Ferrari California T. This combination of beauty and the beast gets to the top speed of 320 kmph with 0-100 kmph sprint in 3.5 seconds.

In terms of handling, this model in Ferrari GT range gets a newly improved steering assembly which makes a 7% reduction in the steering ratio which makes it easy to maneuver in sharp turns.

This car will be sold by the company dealership in Delhi and its ex-showroom price is 3.5 crores.
