The South Korean electronics giant LG recently released a new teaser video of its upcoming LG V40 ThinQ smartphone revealing not many details about the device but, the teaser did confirm that the LG V40 ThinQ will boast five-camera setup and 6.4-inch display. Now the LG V40 ThinQ has appeared on Geekbench Listing revealing few more details about the phone specifications.
The new V40 ThinQ Geekbench Listing shows the device to come running on Android Oreo 8.1, instead of the Android 9 Pie as rumored earlier. The listing also shows the device to have 6GB of RAM and Snapdragon 845 processor.
However, the Geekbench result might be of a pre-production unit of the V40 ThinQ, so we are can’t be sure that these are the final specs of the device until we get any official details.
However, as of now, the LG V40 ThinQ was widely expected to come with Android 9 Pie, but the Geekbench Listing which shows V40 ThinQ to come with Android Oreo 8.1 seems pretty surprising.
LG V40 ThinQ official launch event is scheduled for a global launch on October 3 in New York and October 4 in Seoul and South Korea.
