Xiaomi has recently introduced a new sub-brand Poco under which the first smartphone is Poco F1. But unlike Xiaomi devices, you can unlock the bootloader of Poco F1.

Working on users feedback, Poco started working and now they’ve come with the news that you can unlock bootloader in the Poco F1. Unlocking the bootloader will enable your device to be compatible with customizations that Android allows.

Jai Mani, the Head of Product at Poco announced the news via Twitter that Poco F1 users can unlock the bootloader but after 72 hours of obtaining permission. However,  we still don’t know if this pertains to all Xiaomi devices since Poco is a sub-brand of Xiaomi.

The Poco F1 comes at a premium mid-range price but packs flagship hardware specs such as a Snapdragon 845 processor as seen in other competing flagship phones such as OnePlus 6Vivo NexOppo Find X, etc.

There is a 6.18-inch full HD screen with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio and the rear primary camera is 12-megapixels and the secondary rear camera is of 5-megapixels. The selfie camera is 20-megapixel.
