This October we are going to witness a series of devices queued for launch including Microsoft Surface event on October 2, Google’s Pixel event on October 9 and October 16 for Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro.
Now LG has also announced the launch date of its LG V40 ThinkQ smartphone. There are two events, one for the global launch on October 3 and another for the Korean launch of LG V40 ThinkQ on October 4.
The company has released a video teaser for the Seoul launch event which hints towards the existence of triple-camera sensors on the LG V40 ThinkQ. One will be a normal sensor, one wide-angle lens, and a third one dedicated to zoom.
Specifications of LG V40 ThinkQ
Right now, there is nothing official from LG regarding the specs of the LG V40 ThinkQ, but we can provide you with the information rumor mills have spilled out. The smartphone is said to come with three rear cameras with sensors including a 12-megapixel f/1.5 lens+16-megapixel wide-angle lens+12-megapixel optical zoom lens.
On the front, there are two sensors with 8-megapixel+5-megapixel. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC will be driving the LG V40 ThinkQ paired with 6GB of RAM. The handset is expected to arrive in 64GB and 128GB of internal storage options.
There will be a 6.4-inch QHD+ POLED FullVision display panel with 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
These specs are not officially confirmed yet, so we are advising our readers to take them with a grain of salt.
