Xiaomi has started rolling out the MIUI 9 Global Beta ROM (V9.6.6.0.OEDMIFD) for the Mi Max 3 that brings the Google Play Services support which also includes the Play Store.

Mi Max 3 runs on the Chinese version of the MIUI skin which doesn’t include the Google Play Services, so Max 3 owners were forced to use a workaround to download third-party apps on the phablet.

The update, however, is currently rolling out in Russia to only 30% random users over the air and may not contain a list of changes. If you have not yet received this update, wait for the public release.

The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 was launched in China in July and also released in Russia. The phablet comes with a massive a 6.9-inch Full HD+ (2,160 x 1,080p) IPS LCD display and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor.
